The brief
What the client needed
A dated 1990s kitchen in a lake house, closed off from the view, with an island too small to cook on.
Our solution
We moved the sink to face the lake, built a walnut island with a black stone top and set the tall appliances into one quiet wall of cabinets.
Scope of work
Layout change and plumbing move
Walnut veneer cabinetry, 34 boxes
Stone island top, 11 ft
Integrated appliances
Downdraft extraction
Materials

After

They thought about how we cook, not just how it looks. Best decision we made on the house.
